Survival tables and censored data. We describe the methodology of preparing survival tables and the treatment of censored data in this type of study with time to event variables.
Simple regression. The concept of regression is defined and the most used simple regression models are detailed: linear, logistic and proportional hazards regression.
Outliers. Outliers are values that seems inconsistent with the rest of the values, according to the assumed probability model that they follow in the sample.
The pie chart. A pie chart is a circle whorepresents the total of the data and to each category is assigned an area directly proportional to its frequency.
Linear correlation. Linear correlation represents the strength of association between two quantitative variables, without implying dependence or causality.
